How do I find a medicine on the Swiss Specialities List?

Search by preparation name, active substance, ATC code or authorisation holder, or pick a first letter in the A-Z index. Every preparation page shows the public price and ex-factory price per pack, the verbatim limitation text and related records for market research.

Why can I not find my medicine?

This directory reflects the stated Specialities List snapshot. Swissmedic authorisation alone does not establish SL listing. Check spelling, active substance and the data date, then consult the current official SL entry and its conditions.

How current are the prices in this directory?

The data comes from the official FOPH data set and every page carries an as-of date. The FOPH publishes changes monthly, normally effective on the first day of a month. For legally binding information the FOPH publication always prevails.
