BALVERSA als Monotherapie wird vergütet für die Behandlung erwachsener Patienten mit nicht resezierbarem oder metastasiertem Urothelkarzinom (mUC) mit FGFR3-Alteration, bei denen die Erkrankung nach einem PD-(L)1-Inhibitor (Programmed Death Receptor-1- bzw. Programmed Death-Ligand 1-Inhibitor) fortgeschritten ist, sowie nach einer platinhaltigen Chemotherapie, wenn diese dafür geeignet sind. Nicht mehr als zwei vorherige systemische Behandlungen.
Die Behandlung von BALVERSA erfolgt bis zur Progression der Erkrankung oder dem Auftreten inakzeptabler Toxizität. Falls es unter BALVERSA-Therapie zu einer Progression kam, soll BALVERSA in derselben Indikation in nachfolgenden Therapielinien nicht mehr vergütet werden.
Die Zulassungsinhaberin erstattet dem Krankenversicherer, bei dem die versicherte Person zum Zeitpunkt des Bezugs versichert war, auf dessen erste Aufforderung hin für jede bezogenen Packung BALVERSA einen festgeschriebenen Anteil des FAP zurück.
Die Zulassungsinhaberin gibt dem Krankenversicherer die Höhe der Rückvergütung bekannt. Die Mehrwertsteuer kann nicht zusätzlich zu diesem Anteil des Fabrikabgabepreises zurückgefordert werden. Die Aufforderung zur Rückvergütung soll ab dem Zeitpunkt der Verabreichung erfolgen.
