Die Vergütung der Behandlung bedarf der Kostengutsprache durch den Krankenversicherer nach vorgängiger Konsultation des Vertrauensarztes. Für die Behandlung mit Cabazitaxel-Teva ist keine neue Kostengutsprache nötig, wenn in derselben Indikation bereits eine Kostengutsprache für das Originalpräparat oder ein anderes Generikum besteht.
Es sind maximal 10 Zyklen zu vergüten.
Bei Abbruch der Therapie vor Beginn des 2. Zyklus mit Cabazitaxel-Teva werden von der Zulassungsinhaberin auf Antrag des Versicherers die Kosten für die während des 1. Zyklus verabreichte Dosis von Cabazitaxel-Teva im Publikumspreis dem Kostenträger vergütet.
