In Kombination mit Prednison bzw. Prednisolon zur Behandlung des metastasierten kastrationsresistenten Prostatakarzinoms (mCRPC) bei Patienten, die zuvor mit Docetaxel chemotherapeutisch behandelt wurden, falls diese Patienten nicht auf Docetaxel angesprochen haben oder bei denen das Karzinom eine Progression innerhalb von 6 Monaten nach Ende der Therapie mit Docetaxel gezeigt hat.
Die Vergütung der Behandlung bedarf der Kostengutsprache durch den Krankenversicherer nach vorgängiger Konsultation des Vertrauensarztes.
Es sind maximal 10 Zyklen zu vergüten.
Bei Abbruch der Therapie vor Beginn des 2. Zyklus mit Jevtana werden von der Firma Sanofi-Aventis (Suisse) SA auf Antrag des Versicherers die Kosten für die während des 1. Zyklus verabreichte Dosis von Jevtana im Publikumspreis dem Kostenträger vergütet.
