Kostenübernahme bei Personen ab 50 Jahren mit einer aktuellen oder zukünftigen (insbesondere zellulären) Immunschwäche.
Kostenübernahme bei Personen ab 18 Jahren, die derzeit an einer schweren Immunschwäche leiden oder die aktuelle bzw. in absehbarer Zeit eine stark immunsuppressive Behandlung erhalten.
Die Preise der Impfstoffe sind Höchstpreise (Art. 52 Abs. 3 KVG) und kommen bei Reihenimpfungen (z.B. im schulärztlichen Dienst) nicht zur Anwendung. In diesen Fällen gelten die von den Krankenversicherern mit den zuständigen Behörden ausgehandelten bzw. die allenfalls von den Behörden festgesetzten Tarife. Wenn der Impfstoff zu einem günstigeren Preis bezogen wird (z.B. im Rahmen von Reihenimpfungen), darf der Arzt oder die Ärztin nicht den Publikumspreis der SL verrechnen.
Die Vergünstigung muss gemäss Artikel 56 Absatz 3 KVG weitergegeben werden, ausser es bestehen Vereinbarungen nach Artikel 56 Absatz 3bis KVG.

Is Shingrix covered by Swiss health insurance?
Yes, but only under conditions. Shingrix is on the Specialities List with a limitation: basic insurance reimburses it only when the conditions in the limitation text are met, in some cases only after the insurer has granted cost approval.
