Die Therapie mit QUTENZA kann nach der 3. Anwendung einzig bei Reduktion der Schmerzen um mindestens 30% (VAS) fortgeführt werden.
Tritt nach der 3. Anwendung keine Reduktion der Schmerzen um mindestens 30% (VAS) ein, vergütet die Grünenthal Pharma AG nach Aufforderung durch denjenigen Krankenversicherer, bei dem die versicherte Person zum Zeitpunkt des Bezugs versichert war, den Fabrikabgabepreis für die 2. und 3. Packung QUTENZA an den Krankenversicherer zurück. Die Mehrwertsteuer kann nicht zusätzlich zu den Rückvergütungsbeträgen zurückgefordert werden. Die Aufforderung zur Rückerstattung erfolgt zu demjenigen Zeitpunkt, bei dem klar ist, dass nach der 3. Anwendung von QUTENZA keine Reduktion der Schmerzen um mindestens 30% (VAS) eingetreten ist.
