- Für Patienten, welche mit den bisherigen oralen Therapien (Metformin und/oder Sulfonylharnstoffe) nur ungenügend eingestellt werden können oder diese nicht vertragen.
- In Kombination mit einem DPP4-Inhibitor oder Insulin, wenn durch die maximal tolerierte Dosis an Metformin und einem DPP4-Inhibitor oder Insulin keine ausreichende glykämische Kontrolle erreicht wird.
- In Kombination mit einem GLP-1-Analogon.
- Für Patienten, die bereits mit einer freien Kombination von Dapagliflozin und Metformin als separate Tabletten behandelt werden.
