• Anstelle von Metformin, wenn mit der maximal tolerierten Dosis Metformin allein oder in Kombination mit einem Sulfonylharnstoff, einem DPP4-Inhibitor oder Insulin keine ausreichende Kontrolle der Glykämie erreicht wird.
• Als Ersatz für die bereits separat verabreichten Wirkstoffe Canagliflozin und Metformin.

Is Vokanamet covered by Swiss health insurance?
Yes, but only under conditions. Vokanamet is on the Specialities List with a limitation: basic insurance reimburses it only when the conditions in the limitation text are met, in some cases only after the insurer has granted cost approval.
