Vor Therapiebeginn muss in Abhängigkeit von der klinischen Symptomatik die Angemessenheit einer oralen versus einer parenteralen Substitution abgewogen werden. Der Therapieerfolg soll in regelmässigen Abständen ärztlich überwacht werden (siehe Rubrik «Warnhinweise und Vorsichtsmassnahmen).
