Limitation
This preparation is reimbursed only under the conditions below. The text is the binding FOPH wording; outside those conditions basic insurance does not pay.
The FOPH publishes limitation texts in German, French and Italian only. The German wording is reproduced verbatim below.
• Erwachsenen und pädiatrischen Patienten (im Alter von mindestens 4 Wochen und mit einem Körpergewicht von mindestens 3 kg) mit einer Pneumonie, die eine zusätzliche Sauerstoffzufuhr erfordert (Low- oder High-Flow-Sauerstoff oder andere nicht-invasive Beatmung zu Beginn der Behandlung)
• zur Frühbehandlung (innerhalb von 5 Tagen nach Symptombeginn, ausser bei immunsupprimierten Personen) bei Erwachsenen und pädiatrischen Patienten (mit einem Körpergewicht von mindestens 40 kg), die keine zusätzliche Sauerstoffzufuhr oder Hospitalisierung aufgrund von COVID-19 benötigen und bei welchen gemäss der aktuell gültigen Richtlinie der Schweizerischen Gesellschaft für Infektiologie (SSI) (https://www.sginf.ch/guidelines/guidelines-overview.html) ein erhöhtes Risiko für einen schweren COVID-19-Verlauf besteht.
Für die frühzeitige ambulante Behandlung von Hochrisikopatienten, die keine zusätzliche Sauerstoffzufuhr oder Hospitalisierung aufgrund von COVID-19 benötigen, wird für eine Erkrankung maximal eine Dosierung von 400mg während 3 Tagen vergütet (Tag 1: 200mg, Tag 2: 100mg: Tag 3: 100mg).
Die ambulante Behandlung muss durch entsprechend spezialisierte Zentren oder Universitätsspitäler (https://www.bag.admin.ch/bag/de/home/versicherungen/krankenversicherung/krankenversicherung-leistungen-tarife/Arzneimittel/Referenzdokumente-zur-Spezialitaetenliste.html) eingeleitet werden.
