Zur Behandlung von Patienten mit einem Typ 2 Diabetes mellitus zur Verbesserung der glykämischen Kontrolle, wenn durch Diät und gesteigerte körperliche Aktivität keine ausreichende Kontrolle der Glykämie erreicht wird:
- Als Monotherapie, bei Patienten, die nicht mit Metformin behandelt werden können.
- In Kombination mit den blutzuckersenkenden Arzneimitteln Metformin, DPP4-Inhibitoren mit oder ohne Metformin oder Sulfonylharnstoffen, wenn diese Behandlung keine ausreichende glykämische Kontrolle ermöglicht.
Es wird maximal eine Tagesdosierung von 5 mg Ertugliflozin vergütet.
