Die QUOFENIX Tabletten dürfen erst nach 6 Dosen QUOFENIX i.v. eingesetzt werden. Die Gesamtdauer der Behandlung beträgt 5 bis maximal 14 Tage nach Ermessen des Arztes. Die Behandlung mit QUOFENIX ist nur dann angezeigt, wenn die für die Initialbehandlung dieser Infektionen empfohlenen Antibiotika als nicht geeignet erachtet werden. Die allgemein anerkannten Richtlinien für den angemessenen Gebrauch von antimikrobiellen Wirkstoffen sind zu berücksichtigen, insbesondere Anwendungsempfehlungen zur Verhinderung der Zunahme von Antibiotikaresistenz. Daher soll die Indikationsstellung und die Therapie mit QUOFENIX nur unter Anleitung eines Infektiologen erfolgen. QUOFENIX darf nur bei schwerwiegenden Infektionen und wenn keine andere geeignete Therapieoption in Frage kommt, eingesetzt werden.
