Zur Behandlung der Hypercholesterinämie bei:
- Patienten mit hohem Risiko für eine atherosklerotische kardiovaskuläre Erkrankung gemäss AGLA-Risikokategorie und einem LDL-Cholesterinwert ≥ 1.8 mmol/L
- Patienten mit sehr hohem Risiko für eine atherosklerotische kardiovaskuläre Erkrankung gemäss AGLA-Risikokategorie und einem LDL-Cholesterinwert ≥ 1.4 mmol/L
NUSTENDI wird nur vergütet,
- wenn zuvor über mindestens 3 Monate mit der maximal verträglichen Dosierung einer intensivierten LDL-C senkenden Therapie mit einem Statin in Kombination mit Ezetimib (oder Ezetimib alleine bei einer nachgewiesenen Statin Unverträglichkeit) die oben erwähnten LDL-C Werte nicht erreicht werden konnten
Eine Unverträglichkeit gegenüber Statinen gilt als nachgewiesen, wenn
- Therapieversuche mit mehreren Statinen zu Myalgien oder
- einem Anstieg der Kreatinin-Kinase auf mindestens das Fünffache des oberen Normwertes führten oder
- wenn durch ein Statin eine schwere Hepatopathie aufgetreten ist
Die Behandlung darf nur fortgesetzt werden, wenn bei einer Kontrolle innerhalb von 6 Monaten nach Behandlungsbeginn der LDL-C Wert um mindestens 10% gesenkt wurde.
Die Vergütung in Kombination mit der Anwendung von PCSK9-Inhibitoren oder -Senkern ist ausgeschlossen.
NUSTENDI wird auch vergütet bei Patienten, die zuvor eine Therapie mit Bempedoinsäure und Ezetimib als Kombination von Monopräparaten erhielten und ersetzt diese Kombination.
