Kriterien für die Therapieeinleitung:
• Serumkaliumspiegel ≤ 5 mmol/l
• chronische Nierenerkrankung seit mindestens 3 Monaten
• eGFR von 25-59 ml/min/1.73m2 und einen Albumin-Kreatinin-Quotient im Urin von > 30 mg/g oder
• eGFR von 25-75 ml/min/1.73m2 und einen Albumin-Kreatinin-Quotient im Urin von > 300 mg/g
• Vorbehandlung mit einer maximal verträglichen zugelassenen Dosis eines Angiotensin-Converting-Enzyme-Hemmers oder eines Angiotensinrezeptorblockers
• In Kombination mit SGLT2-Inhibitoren nur bei Patienten mit eGFR von 25-59 ml/min/1.73m2 und einen Albumin-Kreatinin-Quotient im Urin von > 300mg/g

Is Kerendia covered by Swiss health insurance?
Yes, but only under conditions. Kerendia is on the Specialities List with a limitation: basic insurance reimburses it only when the conditions in the limitation text are met, in some cases only after the insurer has granted cost approval.
