Zur Verbesserung des Blutzuckerspiegels bei erwachsenen Patienten mit Diabetes mellitus Typ2:
- anstelle von Empagliflozin, wenn die Blutzuckerkontrolle durch Diät, Bewegung und eine Behandlung mit Empagliflozin und Metformin oder mit Empagliflozin und einem Sulfonylharnstoff unzureichend ist.
- anstelle von Linagliptin, wenn die Blutzuckerkontrolle durch Diät, Bewegung und eine Behandlung mit Linagliptin und Metformin oder mit Linagliptin und einem Sulfonylharnstoff unzureichend ist.
Als Ersatz der freien Kombination von Empagliflozin und Linagliptin bei erwachsenen Patienten mit Diabetes mellitus Typ 2, welche bereits mit dieser Kombination behandelt werden.

Yes, but only under conditions. Glyxambi is on the Specialities List with a limitation: basic insurance reimburses it only when the conditions in the limitation text are met, in some cases only after the insurer has granted cost approval.
