Behandlung der Osteoporose bei postmenopausalen Frauen (Reduktion um mehr als 2,5 Standard-Abweichungen bei der Osteodensitometrie oder bei Fraktur). Begleitbehandlung bei Frauen mit Mammakarzinom unter adjuvanter Behandlung mit Aromatasehemmern und bei Männern mit Prostatakarzinom unter Hormonablation, wenn ein erhöhtes Frakturrisiko vorliegt. Nach Abschluss der adjuvanten Behandlung mit Aromatasehemmern oder der Hormonablation ist auch die Behandlung mit Denosumab-Mepha osteo zu beenden.
Behandlung zur Erhöhung der Knochenmineraldichte bei Männern mit Osteoporose und erhöhtem Frakturrisiko.
