Limitation
This preparation is reimbursed only under the conditions below. The text is the binding FOPH wording; outside those conditions basic insurance does not pay.

VELSIPITY 2 mg täglich, ist für die Behandlung von erwachsenen Patienten mit mässig bis schwer aktiver Colitis ulcerosa (CU) indiziert, die entweder auf eine herkömmliche Therapie oder ein Biologikum unzureichend angesprochen haben, nicht mehr ansprechen oder diese nicht vertragen.
Bei Patienten, bei denen bis zur Woche 12 (respektive 3 Packungen zu 2 mg, 28 Stk.) kein klinisches Ansprechen gezeigt werden konnte, ist die Behandlung abzubrechen.
Eine Kombination mit einem Biologikum, zielgerichteten synthetischen DMARD oder S1P-Rezeptor-Modulator für die Behandlung der gleichen Indikation wird nicht vergütet. Eine Co-Medikation ist bei Patienten mit mehreren Erkrankungen zu vermeiden, wenn ein geeigneter alternativer Wirkstoff erstattet ist, der die zu behandelnden Indikationen übergreifend abdeckt.
Eine Weiterbehandlung mit VELSIPITY nach einer Therapiedauer von einem Jahr bedarf der Kostengutsprache durch den Krankenversicherer nach vorgängiger Konsultation des Vertrauensarztes.
