Die Diagnose der Alkoholabhängigkeit, die Verschreibung, Überwachung und Dokumentation der Therapie muss durch einen geeignet qualifizierten Arzt mit Erfahrung in der Therapie von Alkoholabhängigen erfolgen.
Die Behandlung darf nur bei Patienten eingeleitet werden, deren Alkoholkonsum sich 2 Wochen nach einer initialen Untersuchung weiterhin auf einem hohen Risiko-Niveau befindet.
Nur als zusätzliche Behandlung in Verbindung mit kontinuierlicher psychosozialer Unterstützung, die auf Therapieadhärenz und eine Reduktion des Alkoholkonsums zielt.
Die Vergütung erfolgt über einen Zeitraum von maximal 12 Monaten. Eine Vergütung >12 Monate ist nur nach Kostengutsprache nach Evaluation des Behandlungserfolgs und des weiteren Behandlungsbedarfs durch den Vertrauensarzt vorgesehen.
