Aktive Rheumatoide Arthritis
Behandlung der aktiven rheumatoiden Arthritis, wenn die vorausgegangene antirheumatische Standardtherapie mit krankheitsmodifizierenden Antirheumatika (DMARDs) unzulänglich war.
Morbus Crohn
Behandlung von Patienten mit aktivem Morbus Crohn, wenn die vorausgegangene konventionelle Therapie (z.B. mit Azathioprin, 6-Mercaptopurin, Steroiden) unzulänglich war.
Morbus Bechterew/Ankylosierende Spondylitis
Behandlung des Morbus Bechterew, wenn die vorausgegangene konventionelle Therapie unzulänglich war.
Moderate bis schwere Colitis ulcerosa
Behandlung erwachsener Patienten mit REMICADE, wenn die vorausgegangene konventionelle Therapie (z.B. mit Azathioprin, 6-Mercaptopurin oder Glukokortikoiden) unzulänglich war oder nicht vertragen wurde.
Die Verschreibung von REMICADE für die folgenden Behandlungen kann nur durch Fachärzte der Rheumatologie/Dermatologie oder rheumatologische/dermatologische Universitätskliniken/Polikliniken erfolgen:
Schwere Plaque-Psoriasis
Behandlung erwachsener Patienten mit schwerer Plaque-Psoriasis, bei denen 1.) eine Phototherapie oder eine der folgenden konventionellen systemischen Therapien (Ciclosporin, Methotrexat, Acitretin) keinen therapeutischen Erfolg gezeigt haben, und 2.) eine TNF- alpha blockierende Substanz (z.B. Etanercept) keinen therapeutischen Erfolg gezeigt hat. Falls nach 14 Wochen kein therapeutischer Erfolg eingetreten ist, ist die Behandlung abzubrechen. Die maximale Behandlungsdauer beträgt 1 Jahr.
Psoriasis Arthritis
Behandlung erwachsener Patienten mit aktiver Psoriasis-Arthritis 1.) nur in Kombination mit Methotrexat, bei Versagen von mindestens zwei krankheitsmodifizierenden DMARD inklusive Methotrexat und 2.) nach Versagen der Kombinationen Methotrexat/Etanercept oder Methotrexat/Adalimumab.
