Die Wirksamkeit / Zweckmässigkeit von LUPKYNIS muss spätestens nach 6 Monaten durch den aktuell behandelnden Arzt zu Handen des Vertrauensarztes reevaluiert werden, verbunden mit einer angemessenen Nutzen-Risiko-Analyse in Bezug auf die Weiterführung der Lupkynis-Therapie.
Erstverordnung durch FachärztInnen für klinische Immunologie, Nephrologie und Rheumatologie, welche Erfahrung in der Behandlung einer Lupusnephritis haben.
Lupkynis wird vergütet zur Behandlung von erwachsenen Patienten mit nachgewiesener, aktiver Lupusnephritis (LN) der Klassen III, IV oder V (einschliesslich deren Mischformen III/V und IV/V) in Kombination mit einer immunsuppressiven Basistherapie (entsprechend der Zulassungsstudie) mit Mycophenolat Mofetil.
