Symptomatische Behandlung des Lambert-Eaton-Myasthenie Syndroms (LEMS) bei Erwachsenen.
FIRAPSE darf nur in Spital-basierten, spezialisierten neuromuskulären Zentren des Netzwerks Myosuisse https://myosuisse.org/ueber-uns/nationale-referenzzentren/ von einem Facharzt der Neurologie verschrieben werden.
In den sieben Zentren müssen alle LEMS-Patienten erfasst werden, welche mit FIRDAPSE therapiert werden. Die folgenden Angaben sind zu dokumentieren:
- Anzahl behandelter Patienten pro Kalenderjahr
- Therapiestart, Therapieende / pro Patient
- Bei Therapieabbruch: Begründung, weshalb die Therapie abgebrochen wurde
Der Therapieerfolg mit FIRDAPSE muss 12 Wochen nach Beginn der Behandlung überprüft werden.
Die Therapie mit FIRDAPSE muss abgesetzt werden, wenn keine Wirkung feststellbar.

Is Firdapse covered by Swiss health insurance?
Yes, but only under conditions. Firdapse is on the Specialities List with a limitation: basic insurance reimburses it only when the conditions in the limitation text are met, in some cases only after the insurer has granted cost approval.
