- Patienten mit hohem Risiko gemäss AGLA-Risikokategorie, die den LDL-Zielwert - Patienten mit sehr hohem Risiko gemäss AGLA-Risikokategorie, die den LDL-Zielwert - Patienten mit Statin-Intoleranz, d.h. Patienten, die bei Einnahme eines Statins nicht tolerierbare Muskelschmerzen und/oder messbare Muskelschwäche und/oder eine Erhöhung der Creatininkinase >5x des oberen Grenzwertes aufweisen. Vor der Verschreibung von Ezetimib ist ein anderes Statin und, sofern dies nicht vertragen wird, Atorvastatin oder Rosuvastatin 5-10 mg 1-2x pro Woche auszuprobieren.
- Patienten mit homozygoter Sitosterinämie (Phytosterinämie).
