Vergütung bei Patienten mit metastasiertem Kolorektalkarzinom mit nicht-mutiertem Wildtyp-Ras-Gen:
- In Kombination mit FOLFIRI oder FOLFOX
- Als Monotherapie, wenn eine Therapie auf Oxaliplatin- und Irinotecan-Basis versagt hat oder eine Irinotecan-Intoleranz vorliegt.
Vergütung bei Patienten mit lokal fortgeschrittenem Plattenepithelkarzinom im Kopf-Hals-Bereich (ausgenommen nasopharyngeale Karzinome), die eine Behandlung mit Cisplatin nicht vertragen:
- In Kombination mit Radiotherapie.
Vergütung bei Patienten mit rezidivierendem und/oder metastasiertem Plattenepithelkarzinom im Kopf-Hals-Bereich (ausgenommen nasopharyngeale Karzinome):
- In Kombination mit bis zu 6 Zyklen Cisplatin und 5-Fluorouracil. Anschliessend wird die Erhaltungstherapie mit Erbitux alleine bis zur Tumorprogression weiter vergütet.

Is Erbitux covered by Swiss health insurance?
Yes, but only under conditions. Erbitux is on the Specialities List with a limitation: basic insurance reimburses it only when the conditions in the limitation text are met, in some cases only after the insurer has granted cost approval.
