Symptomatische Behandlung von Patienten mit leichter bis mittelschwerer Alzheimer-Krankheit:
Zu Therapiebeginn und regelmässig im Verlauf der Therapie (alle 6 Monate) ist jeweils im Rahmen der klinischen Gesamtbeurteilung (Alltagsfunktion, Verhaltensauffälligkeiten, Kognition) eine Beurteilung der Kognition mittels kognitivem Screening vorzunehmen: Durchführung eines Minimentaltests (mini mental status examination (MMSE), ggf. Umrechnung Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA). Im Stadium schwerer Demenz oder wenn die MMSE-Werte unter 10 liegen, ist die Behandlung zu beenden. Die Behandlung darf nur mit einem Präparat zur Behandlung der Alzheimer-Krankheit durchgeführt werden, eine Kombinationsbehandlung wird nicht vergütet.
