Rheumatoide Arthritis:
Zur Behandlung der aktiven rheumatoiden Arthritis bei erwachsenen Patienten, die auf die Behandlung mit einem konventionellen synthetischen DMARD (disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs) oder einem Tumornekrosefaktor (TNF)-Hemmer nicht ausreichend angesprochen haben.
Systemische juvenile idiopathische Arthritis (sJIA):
In Kombination mit Kortikosteroiden und konventionellen synthetischen DMARD (disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs) inklusive Methotrexat zur Behandlung von Kindern und Jugendlichen ab 2 Jahren bis 17 Jahren mit systemischer juveniler idiopathischer Arthritis (sJIA), welche auf eine vorgängige Therapie mit nicht-steroidalen Antirheumatika und Steroiden nicht ausreichend angesprochen haben.
Polyartikulärer juveniler idiopathischer Arthritis (pJIA):
In Kombination mit Methotrexat zur Behandlung von Kindern und Jugendlichen ab 2 Jahren bis 17 Jahren mit aktiver polyartikulärer juveniler idiopathischer Arthritis (pJIA), die auf eine vorgängige Therapie mit Methotrexat nicht ausreichend angesprochen haben. Bei einer Unverträglichkeit auf Methotrexat kann Actemra als Monotherapie verabreicht werden.
